Quilts Of Valor
Once a month Brick House QW will hold a community service sew workshop to make Quilts of Valor. These quilts will eventually be donated to local veterans. This is a group project where participants will be working collaboratively on one or two quilts at a time while at the studio. Fabric and instructions will be provided. There is no “homework”. Just show up with your usual workshop supplies (sewing machine, thread, scissors, ….) and help sew together pre-cut blocks. This event is open to ALL! A great opportunity for beginners to observe and learn, however, you do not have to sew to be helpful! There will be many tasks at hand from ironing to sorting and folding fabric to cutting for the next quilt. The more the merrier. Come for the duration or drop in at any time. There is no fee for this event
